IEC C14 to C13 90-degree adapter
This right-angled adapter converts an IEC C14 inlet to a C13 outlet, routing the cable upward or downward to fit tight clearances behind racks, UPS units or desktop power supplies. It is rated for 10 A at 250 V and suits any device that uses a standard IEC 320 C13 power cord. The compact moulded body adds minimal depth while keeping the connection secure.
Replaces a straight C13 plug when rear access is
Use this adapter when a straight cable would press against a wall, cabinet door or adjacent hardware and risk bending the cord or stressing the inlet. The 90-degree turn eliminates that strain and lets you route the lead neatly along the chassis. It is not for situations where the cable must exit sideways or where a longer reach is needed; a short extension cord would be the better choice there.
Limited to IEC 320 C14/C13 10 A 250 V circuits
The adapter only works with equipment fitted with a C14 inlet and a C13 cord, and it cannot carry more than 10 A at 250 V. It provides no voltage conversion, surge protection or filtering, so it must not be used on loads that exceed its rating or on non-IEC power systems. Polarity follows the IEC standard; reversing the adapter is not possible because the C14 and C13 connectors are keyed differently.

Questions about this item
How much clearance does the 90-degree IEC C14 to C13 adapter need behind the device port?
The right-angle design lets the cable exit upward or downward, so it fits where a straight plug would hit a wall or rack rail — just verify which direction your chassis allows.
Which way should I orient the 90-degree IEC C14 to C13 adapter when plugging it in?
Check the equipment’s C14 inlet first; the adapter’s fixed 90-degree angle routes the C13 lead either up or down, so choose the orientation that keeps the cable clear of neighbouring ports or vents.
Does the 10 A 250 V IEC 320 C14 to C13 adapter need any periodic maintenance?
No scheduled upkeep is required; simply inspect the pins and housing for heat discolouration or looseness during routine hardware checks and replace the unit if damage appears.
