Two-pack 90-degree DB9 angled adapters
This Fervit set supplies two RS232 DB9 adapters, one angled up and one angled down at 90 degrees. Each unit has a male plug with thumbscrews on one side and a female socket with screw nuts on the other. The D-shaped metal shield gives mechanical protection and ensures correct orientation when mating.
Suited for tight-panel serial links
The right-angle shape lets you attach cables where straight backshells would hit chassis walls, rack rails or adjacent connectors. It is not for setups that need a straight-through gender changer, nor for interfaces that use a different pin count or shell size than the standard DB9 layout.
90-degree D-sub profile decides fit
The single specification that determines whether this part works is the 90-degree angle between the cable axis and the connector face. Measure the clearance behind your DB9 port; if the space cannot accept a right-angle backshell, a straight adapter is required instead.

Questions about this item
Which angled adapter should I pick for a tight DB9 port?
Both adapters in the 2‑pack are identical 90‑degree RS232 DB9 male‑to‑female units, so either one fits a cramped female port.
What does the RS232 label mean when I plug this into my machine?
It carries standard RS232 serial signals through all nine pins, letting legacy or industrial gear talk to a DB9 port.
Does the D‑sub interface limit the signal speed or distance?
The D‑sub shell only provides mechanical alignment and shielding; RS232 electrical limits still apply.
