Fervit USB 2.0 Y-Cable 60cm
This Fervit cable combines two USB Type-A plugs with a single Mini Micro Type-B 5-pin connector. One Type-A carries both power and data while the second supplies extra power only. It is built for devices that cannot draw enough current from a single host port.
Users with under-powered 2.5-inch drives.
The Y-design suits owners of portable hard drives, SSDs, cameras or MP4 players that fail to spin up or operate reliably from one USB socket. It will not help devices that need a different connector type or require more than the cable’s rated output.
10W peak power delivery at 5V 2A
When both Type-A plugs are connected, the cable can deliver up to 10W, letting the peripheral draw up to 2A. Data runs at USB 2.0 Hi-Speed 480Mbps and falls back to USB 1.1 Low-Speed 1.5Mbps where needed.

Questions about this item
What connectors do I need on my computer and device for the 60cm Y-cable to fit?
The cable has two standard USB Type-A plugs for the host and a single Mini Micro Type-B 5-pin plug for the peripheral.
Which USB Type-A plug do I insert first when installing the cable, and what happens if I only use one?
Insert the data-and-power Type-A plug first; the second Type-A plug adds extra power only and carries no data, so the device may not start if that port is left unplugged.
When should I replace the cable if the 480Mbps transfer rate drops or the 10W peak power becomes unreliable?
Replace it if devices disconnect during transfers, fail to spin up, or show intermittent power warnings, which indicate worn conductors or loose connector contacts.
