90 Degree USB Adapter
This Fervit adapter connects a USB 3.0 Type A host port to a USB 3.1 Type C device. The 90 degree angled design allows insertion where space around the port is limited. It supports a 10Gbps data transfer rating for external drives, tablets and phones. The connector is new and reversible on the Type C side.
Suits Tight Ports Not Video
Builders needing to attach a USB C peripheral to a traditional Type A laptop or hub in a cramped chassis will find the right angle useful. The adapter only carries USB 3.0 data and power so it cannot drive displays or carry audio signals. Users wanting to connect a Type C host to a Type A device must choose a different cable.
One Way Host To Device
The USB A plug must serve as the host and the USB C plug as the device; the connection cannot be reversed. This directionality is the single specification that decides whether the part fits the intended topology. Ignoring it will result in a link that does not function.

Questions about this item
Does the adapter come with any cables or do I need a separate USB-A host cable?
The product is a single 90-degree adapter with a USB 3.0 Type-A male plug and a USB 3.1 Type-C male plug. No extra cables are included.
I see USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 mentioned — which version should my host port support?
The USB-A host side follows the USB 3.0 specification while the Type-C device side uses the USB 3.1 connector design. The host port must be USB 3.0 or newer.
Will I actually see 10Gbps speeds when I plug this into my laptop and external drive?
The adapter is rated for 10Gbps data transfer, but real-world speed depends on the host controller, the drive, and the cable quality. It carries USB 3.0 data and power only, not video or audio.
