USB 2.0 Type-C cable with 65W charging
This one-metre Fervit cable carries USB 2.0 data at up to 480 Mbps and delivers up to 65W of power at 20V 3.25A. Both connectors are reversible USB-C plugs, so the cable works for charging and two-way file transfers with laptops, phones, tablets and peripherals. The jacket is ultra-soft and rated for 25000 flex cycles, making it suited to tight routing and frequent movement.
No video, audio or Thunderbolt support
Because the cable implements only the USB 2.0 specification, it cannot drive external displays, carry audio streams or connect Thunderbolt devices. Bandwidth is limited to 480 Mbps, so large file transfers will be slower than with USB 3.x or 4 cables. The 65W power ceiling also means it cannot charge devices that require higher wattage.
Plug in and use; check port expectations
No driver installation is needed — the cable is recognised automatically by any USB-C host. The most common issue is assuming the port supports video or faster data; if a monitor or dock does not appear, the limitation is the cable’s USB 2.0 wiring, not a fault. Ensure both ends seat fully; the reversible design prevents upside-down insertion.
