100 W PD trigger and barrel output limits
The adapter contains a fixed 100 W 20 V 5 A PD trigger, so it will only negotiate the 20 V PDO from a compatible source. If the charger or cable is rated below 100 W the output falls back to lower profiles such as 65 W or the 18.5 V to 20.5 V range. Polarity and barrel dimensions are fixed at 5.5 mm outer and 1.7 mm inner, so laptops with different jack sizes cannot be connected.
