  • Saves MP3 files directly to USB drive or card reader
  • Runs from USB power cord or two AA batteries

Portable Cassette Player with USB Conversion

The Burtowic cassette player plays standard audio cassettes and converts them directly to MP3 files on a USB flash drive or USB card reader. No computer or software is required for the digitisation process. It also functions as a regular portable tape deck with auto-reverse, fast-forward and rewind controls. Over-ear headphones are included for private listening.

Direct USB MP3 Recording

Insert a USB drive or a USB card reader with a memory card to capture cassette audio as MP3 files straight to the storage device. The built-in dual speakers let you monitor playback while recording. A 3.5 mm headphone jack and AUX input provide additional connectivity for headphones, earbuds or external speaker systems.

Dual Power for Indoor or Outdoor Use

The unit runs from the supplied USB power cord or from two AA batteries (not included), so it can be used at a desk or carried outside without a mains socket. Auto-reverse and tape transport mechanisms operate on either power source. This flexibility suits users who need portable digitisation away from a fixed power outlet.
