Anti-Slip Tape for Indoor and Outdoor Use

FindTape AST-35 is a premium anti-slip tape designed to create high-traction surfaces in wet or dry conditions. The 60 grit mineral glass sand backing provides a non-skid finish similar to coarse sandpaper. A solvent acrylic adhesive bonds aggressively to clean, dry substrates. The product is supplied as a 10 ft roll in grey.

Suited for Safety Marking on Stairs and Ramps

This tape suits facility managers and homeowners needing durable grip on steps, walkways, or loading docks. The 35 mil construction withstands pedestrian traffic and weather exposure. Users requiring a comfortable barefoot surface should consider alternative materials because the 60 grit texture feels like sandpaper. The grey colour also limits visibility in low-light settings compared to brighter hues.

Peel-and-Stick Application on Prepared Surfaces

Installation requires a surface that is dry, structurally sound, and free of debris so the adhesive can cure properly. The PE coated paper liner releases cleanly for straightforward positioning. Once applied, the water-resistant backing and aggressive adhesive free the installer from mechanical fasteners or curing equipment. A 3 inch core diameter fits standard dispensers for efficient handling.

Questions about this item

The surface must be dry, in good condition, and free of debris so the solvent acrylic adhesive can bond correctly.

Can the 60 grit mineral glass sand surface be used on steps where people walk barefoot?

The 60 grit surface feels like 60 grit sandpaper and may not be appropriate for bare feet.

How can I verify the grey anti-slip tape is adhered properly after installation?

Press firmly along the full 3 inch width and 10 foot length; the aggressive acrylic adhesive should show no lifting edges or bubbles when bonded to a clean, dry surface.
