White PVC tape for permanent bonds

FindTape DC-4420 is a double-coated white PVC film with a solvent-based acrylic adhesive on a gold siliconized paper liner. The aggressive adhesive system bonds to nearly all materials including difficult foams, PE and PP films. It suits mounting nameplates and decorative trim on appliances and furniture.

Resists temperature UV aging and moisture

The adhesive maintains strength under sustained environmental stress rather than brief exposure. It delivers excellent resistance to temperature extremes, UV light, aging and water vapor. This makes the tape reliable for permanent indoor and outdoor mounting on rubber, plastic, metal and wood substrates.

Check surface compatibility and liner removal

Verify that the substrate is clean and compatible with solvent-based acrylic adhesive before applying. The gold siliconized paper liner must be removed to expose the second adhesive face. Buyers needing a removable or repositionable tape should select a different product.

Questions about this item

Does the solvent-based acrylic adhesive on the DC-4420 tape resist heat and UV exposure during long-term use?

The adhesive system offers excellent temperature, UV, aging, and water vapor resistance, so it holds up well when the tape runs continuously in demanding environments.

What surface preparation or primer does the white PVC film need before the double-coated adhesive will bond?

The aggressive adhesive bonds to nearly all materials — including foams, PE and PP films, rubber, plastic, metal and wood — without requiring a separate primer.

Will the gold siliconized paper liner release cleanly when I apply the tape to older painted metal or aged plastic parts?

Yes, the liner releases cleanly and the adhesive is designed for permanent mounting on appliances and furniture, so it adheres reliably to older painted metal and aged plastic substrates.
