Professional-Grade Electrical Tape

FindTape EL7566-AW is a premium PVC insulation tape built for professional electricians and serious DIYers. It uses a synthetic rubber adhesive on a flexible backing to insulate wires and conductive materials in demanding installation and repair work.

72 mm Width on 1.5-Inch Core

The roll measures 72 mm wide by 66 ft long and fits standard dispensers via its 1.5-inch diameter UL/CSA listed core. Pressure-sensitive adhesive bonds instantly to irregular surfaces, while the 8-mil thickness resists tearing during wrapping and pulling.

All-Weather Flame-Retardant Performance

The tape stays flexible in cold conditions and resists moisture, corrosion, alkalis and acids. Flame-retardant PVC maintains insulating integrity under heat, so wrapped connections remain protected in harsh indoor or outdoor environments.

Questions about this item

How wide is the 72 mm tape in practice?

Industry metric cuts run about 5 % narrower than the nominal width, so the actual width is closer to 24 mm.

What core diameter does the roll fit?

The tape is wound on a 1.5 inch diameter core, the standard size for most dispensers and holders.

Does the adhesive need heat or curing time to bond?

No, it is a pressure-sensitive rubber adhesive that bonds immediately when pressed firmly around the wire.
