Professional-grade electrical tape

FindTape EL7566-AW is a premium all-weather PVC electrical insulation tape built for professional installations, repairs and manufacturing projects. It uses a synthetic rubber adhesive on a flexible PVC backing to insulate wires and conductive materials in demanding environments.

66-foot roll with 8-mil thickness

The roll provides 66 feet of 8-mil thick tape on a 1.5-inch diameter UL/CSA listed core. Nominal 3/4-inch width yields approximately 24 mm actual width, giving ample length for multiple wiring jobs while the thickness delivers strong dielectric protection.

Flame-retardant and cold-resistant performance

The tape resists moisture, corrosion, alkalis and acids while maintaining adhesion across temperature extremes. Pressure-sensitive application requires no heat tools and the backing stays pliable in cold conditions for reliable, long-lasting insulation.

Questions about this item

Will the 3/4 inch width match the 24 mm standard for the older spools I already have?

The rolls are cut to metric industry sizes, approximately 5 % narrower than the nominal width, so a 3/4 inch roll measures about 24 mm and aligns with existing spools.

How can I verify the 8 mil thickness and all-weather rating once the tape is applied?

Check for the UL/CSA listed 1.5 inch core marking on the spool; the PVC backing should stay flexible in cold temperatures and self-extinguish when exposed to flame.

Does the EL7566-AW roll include a dispenser or must I buy one separately?

Only the tape on its 1.5 inch core is supplied; a dispenser or cutter is not included and must be purchased separately.
