Hazard Warning Tape 36 yds

JVCC HZ-8 is a conformable soft PVC vinyl tape supplied as a four-pattern pack totalling 36 yards per roll at 48 mm width. The tape uses a self-extinguishing synthetic rubber adhesive that will not corrode copper, brass, steel or aluminium. It is designed for indoor aisle, exit, floor and hazardous barrier marking in industrial settings.

Replaces worn floor markings

The product upgrades faded or damaged floor striping that no longer meets visibility requirements. The jump is worth it when existing markings fail to comply with OSHA paragraph 1910.144 or when adhesive residue from older tape damages equipment surfaces.

Suits facilities needing multi-hazard coding

Buyers who need colour-coded zones for physical hazards, fire equipment, traffic routes, decorative identification and radiation areas in one purchase are covered. Those who require outdoor-rated tape, reflective properties or a single solid colour throughout a facility should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What surface preparation does the 48 mm PVC tape need before application?

Clean the floor, wall or equipment surface so it is dry and free of dust or oil; the self-extinguishing rubber adhesive bonds best to a smooth, contaminant-free substrate.

Which step do installers most often skip when laying the diagonal-striped rolls?

They forget to press the full length firmly with a roller or hand pressure after positioning, which prevents the conformable vinyl from sealing evenly in high-traffic areas.

How often should the OSHA-compliant marking be inspected for wear?

Check the tape regularly in busy aisles and replace any section where the stripes have faded or edges have lifted, so the warning remains clearly visible.
