Pre-taped drop cloth for paint and dust

Duck Brand Pre-Taped Drop Cloth combines a two-ply plastic film with a removable natural-rubber tape edge. The film resists tears and punctures while the pre-taped border holds it securely on floors, counters, doorways or windows. UV resistance allows indoor or outdoor use for up to four weeks of clean removal. Ideal for catching drips, sawdust and debris during painting or sanding projects.

55.2 in wide by 19 yds long coverage

The roll provides 55.2 inches of width and 19 yards of length, giving ample sheeting for large rooms, stairwells or exterior scaffolding. Unroll, cut to the desired width, apply the taped edge and unfold the film for fast setup. Coverage runs out when the full 19-yard length is consumed, so plan cuts to minimise waste on expansive jobs.

Natural rubber adhesive removes cleanly for four

The tape uses a natural rubber formulation designed to release without residue for up to 4 weeks on clean, dry painted surfaces. It is not recommended for wallpaper, unpainted drywall or lacquered finishes. Test in an inconspicuous area first to confirm compatibility with your specific substrate.

Questions about this item

Will the 55.2 in wide film cover my existing floor protection without gaps?

The two-ply plastic film measures 55.2 inches across, so it spans most standard doorways and floor sections in a single piece.

How can I confirm the tape releases cleanly after I finish painting?

The natural-rubber adhesive is designed to remove cleanly for up to 4 weeks; peel a corner slowly and check for residue on a test patch first.

Does the roll include a cutting tool or do I need my own knife?

Only the pre-taped drop cloth roll is supplied; you will need a utility knife or scissors to cut the film to length.
