High-Visibility Yellow Poly Tarp

This 6' x 20' poly tarp is built for buyers who need a lightweight, waterproof cover that stands out in busy or low-light areas. The high-visibility yellow colour and UV treatment make it suitable for airport runway closures, triage stations and general outdoor protection.

Grommet Spacing and Cut-Size Fit

Brass grommets are placed every 36 inches and at each corner, giving multiple tie-down points for securing the sheet over woodpiles, furniture or equipment. Because the tarp is sold at cut size, the finished piece will measure 6 inches or 3-5% shorter than the nominal dimensions, so plan coverage accordingly.

Weather Resistance and Weight

The 3.3 oz per square foot, 7-8 Mil construction resists water, acid, tears and mildew while remaining light enough to handle without machinery. In normal use the material sheds rain and resists UV degradation, keeping covered items dry without adding significant load to the structure beneath.

Questions about this item

How long does the 3.3 oz polyethylene hold up under constant sun and wind before it tears?

The material is UV treated for durability and rated acid, tear and mildew resistant, so it resists degradation during extended outdoor exposure.

Does the tarp get hot or noisy when left out all day in direct sunlight?

The lightweight poly fabric stays cool to the touch and makes minimal noise in wind because it has no metallic coating or stiff laminate layers.

What tie-down hardware do I need to secure the grommets spaced every 36 inches?

You will need rope, bungee cords or zip ties that fit through the metal grommets placed along the edges and at each corner.
