Anti-slip tape for web rollers

This FindTape RollerGrip tape uses a dimpled silicone surface on a fine mesh cloth base to increase friction on web-based roller systems. The natural rubber adhesive bonds to rollers in printing, film, textile and paper production lines. It is supplied in a grey, 27-yard roll.

Grip depends on roller condition

The tape adds directional texture to smooth or worn roller cores, but it cannot compensate for mechanical misalignment or excessive web tension beyond the roller's design limits. Adhesion relies on a clean, dry core surface and may degrade if exposed to solvents not rated for natural rubber.

Silicone coating resists heat and wear

The high-grade silicone layer withstands elevated temperatures and abrasion typical of continuous web handling, while the optimised shore hardness cushions the web without permanent deformation. A 3-inch diameter core fits standard dispensers, letting operators re-wrap rollers of varying diameters during scheduled maintenance.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 27‑yard roll or a shorter length for my roller?

The 27‑yard roll covers longer or multiple rollers in one piece; shorter rolls suit smaller jobs or trial wraps.

What does the 27‑yard length mean once the tape is on the machine?

It provides enough continuous material to wrap large‑diameter rollers or several smaller ones without splicing.

What interface does the tape use and what does it limit in practice?

The tape adheres via a natural‑rubber adhesive on a 3‑inch core, limiting use to clean, dry roller surfaces that accept rubber‑based bonding.
