The shockproof shell guards the handheld against bumps, drops and scratches while a soft interior lining prevents everyday wear. An elastic strap secures the console in place and the all-around zipper keeps everything enclosed during travel.

Suits owners who carry a console

Eight built-in card slots hold game cartridges for on-the-go play. A mesh pocket stores a charging cable, slim power bank or earbuds. The integrated carry handle makes transport simple. Buyers who need space for bulkier accessories or a larger power bank should look at a bigger case.

Tight fit warning for New 3DS XL and LL models

The manufacturer notes that the case will be very tight for the New 3DS XL and LL variants and does not recommend it for those systems. For the New 2DS XL LL, 2DS and standard New 3DS the fit is intended to be secure. Check your exact model before purchasing.
