Shielded Cat5E patch cable for structured wiring

This FireFold C5EMBS-5-BLU cable carries Cat5E shielding and FTP construction to reduce crosstalk in dense installations. The 5 ft blue cord uses four 24AWG stranded pure copper pairs terminated with RJ45 plugs on both ends. It is rated for 350 MHz bandwidth and tested beyond 600 MHz NEXT performance. Suitable for gigabit links and PoE devices in office or home racks.

Low-profile snagless boots

Each end features a 50 micron gold-plated short-body RJ45 with a low-profile hood designed for high-density switch ports. The snagless boot protects the latch during frequent moves. A CM-rated PVC jacket resists abrasion while staying flexible for routing through cable managers. Shielded FTP wrap and the foil drain maintain grounding continuity across the link.

Passive cable with PoE headroom and no active

As a passive copper assembly it draws no power and generates no noise. The construction supports IEEE 802.3af and is rated for four times the standard PoE current, so connected devices receive stable power without voltage drop. Operating temperature follows the CM jacket rating; no fan, heatsink or external supply is involved.
