1/64 scale GMC 4000 stake truck

This 1/64 scale diecast model reproduces a GMC 4000 stake truck in bright yellow. It is a collectible item not intended or designed for play. Adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts will appreciate the officially licensed detailing and unopened packaging. The model is made of diecast with some plastic parts.

Real rubber tyres and fixed chassis

Real rubber tyres replace the plastic wheels found on many inexpensive replicas. The detailed chassis and undercarriage are visible but the model does not have any openings, so doors, hood and stake sides remain fixed. Accurately detailed cab interior adds realism without moving parts.

Compact display footprint

The model measures approximately 4.75 inches long, 1.75 inches wide and 1.5 inches high. Its small 1/64 scale size allows several trucks to fit on a single shelf. Collectors who need opening features or larger scales will find this piece does not meet those requirements.

Questions about this item

Will the diecast body or rubber tires on this GMC 4000 Stake Truck degrade over time?

The model uses diecast metal with plastic parts and real rubber tires; rubber can harden or crack after years, while diecast is stable if kept dry and dust-free.

What limits how long I can display the 1/64 scale truck under continuous lighting?

Prolonged direct light can fade the bright yellow paint on the diecast and plastic components; UV-filtered display cases slow this effect.

Does the sealed 4.75-inch model generate any heat or noise when left on a shelf all day?

No — it is a static collectible with no moving parts, electronics or power source, so it produces zero heat and no noise.
