Detailed 1/34 Scale Replica

This First Gear diecast model reproduces the Mack Granite MP "Waste Management" garbage truck in 1/34 scale with true-to-scale exterior and cab interior details. It features an authentically functioning roll-off frame that slides and tilts, plus a removable ribbed roll-off container. The officially licensed replica includes real rubber tires and an opening hood revealing engine detail.

Sustained Display Durability

Constructed from diecast metal with select plastic parts, the model is built for long-term shelf display rather than repeated play. The solid metal chassis and undercarriage resist flexing when the container is removed or the roll-off frame is operated. Moving components such as the tilting frame and sliding container maintain smooth action over extended periods without loosening.

Low-Maintenance Collector Piece

As a static display item, the truck draws no power, generates no heat and produces no noise during normal use. The finished surfaces and real rubber tires require only occasional dusting to retain their appearance. Manufacturer's original unopened packaging provides protective storage when the model is not on display.

Questions about this item

Does the diecast model generate any noise, heat or draw power when displayed all day?

No — it is a static 1/34 scale diecast replica with no motor, electronics or battery, so it stays silent, cool and power-free on the shelf.

What extra items are needed to make the roll-off container function as shown?

Nothing — the authentically functioning roll-off frame slides and tilts by hand, and the model arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging ready to display.

Will the 12.5-inch length fit alongside older 1/34 scale trucks in a display case?

Yes — at 12.5 inches long, 3.5 inches wide and 3.5 inches high it matches the 1/34 scale used by other First Gear releases, so it lines up with existing models.
