Two-Pocket Letter Folder

The Five Star 72113 folder holds letter-size sheets measuring 8-1/2 x 11 inches in two interior pockets. Black plastic construction resists water and spills to keep documents clean through daily school or office use. Stay-Put tabs and prong fasteners secure pages so they do not shift or crinkle inside a backpack. A writable label area on the cover lets you identify subjects at a glance.

Durable Plastic Construction

The cover material repels moisture and withstands regular handling without tearing. At 0.25 inch thick and weighing 0.212 pounds, the folder adds minimal bulk to a bag or binder. Prong fasteners anchor punched pages firmly while the corner tabs grip loose sheets from the top. No moving parts or electronics mean silent, maintenance-free operation.

Single-Unit Replacement Option

Sold as a single count, this folder replaces a worn or lost pocket folder without requiring a multi-pack purchase. The 50-page capacity suits one subject or project but will not accommodate larger binders or multi-subject organization. Buyers needing higher capacity or multiple colors should consider other configurations.

Questions about this item

How do I load letter-size sheets so the stay-put tabs actually grip them?

Open the folder, slide each sheet fully into a pocket, then tuck the top edge under the corner tabs; the prong fasteners can be closed afterward for extra security.

What part of this folder is most likely to wear out first with daily school use?

The plastic hinge crease at the 0.25-inch spine and the prong fastener tips see the most stress; the water-resistant cover resists spills but can scuff over time.

At what page count does the folder stop closing flat and start bulging?

The folder is rated for 50 sheets of letter paper; beyond that the 0.25-inch spine cannot compress further and the cover will bow open.
