Durable Expanding File for Daily Use

The Five Star 350100A-ECM expanding file holds letter-size 8-1/2" x 11" sheets in six pockets. A synthetic rubber shell and reinforced gussets resist tearing through daily transport. Students and professionals who need a single organiser for multiple classes or projects will find the 50-sheet capacity practical. Buyers who want more storage pockets or a metal latch should look elsewhere.

Lightweight Construction and Secure Closure

The one-piece plastic design adds minimal bulk to a backpack and requires no power or cooling. A bungee cord closure keeps contents from spilling when the file is dropped or compressed. The patented tuck-away flap folds inside the back pocket so the cover stays flat while you add or remove papers. No moving parts or electronics mean silent operation in any environment.

Included Tab Inserts and Pen Notches

Six tab inserts let you label each pocket for quick subject identification. Two moulded notches hold a pen or pencil so you can edit documents without searching for a writing tool. The Study App referenced by the brand is a separate digital companion and does not alter the physical file’s function. No additional accessories or software licences are bundled with this unit.

Questions about this item

How do I insert the tab inserts into the 6 pockets without bending them?

Slide each tab insert into the clear pocket on the front of its corresponding divider; the synthetic material holds them flat once seated.

What part of the 6-pocket expanding file is most likely to need replacement after heavy daily use?

The bungee cord closure can lose elasticity over time; it is not user-replaceable, so the entire organizer would be replaced.

At what sheet count per pocket does the bungee closure start to strain under sustained use?

Each pocket is rated for 50 sheets; exceeding that limit across the 6 pockets puts tension on the bungee first.
