Essential school folder

The Five Star 38750 folder holds letter-size papers in two plastic pockets. Prong fasteners add secure storage for up to 50 pages. The amethyst purple cover is water-resistant to protect contents from spills. Stay-put tabs keep sheets from bending or crinkling during daily transport.

Students needing lightweight organisation

This folder suits pupils who want a single-subject organiser with a writable label for quick identification. It is not for buyers who need expanding capacity beyond two pockets. It is not for offices requiring fastener positions other than the top-mounted prongs supplied.

Top-mounted prong fasteners

The prongs sit at the top edge and lock punched sheets in place. This fixed position decides whether the folder matches a teacher's binding requirement. Check the prong location before purchasing if your curriculum specifies a different fastener layout.

Questions about this item

Does the 0.25-inch thick plastic folder get warm or make noise when kept full all day?

No, the folder is passive plastic with no electronics, so it produces no heat or sound.

What must I already own for the prong fasteners to hold my 50 pages of letter-size paper?

You need standard 8-1/2 x 11-inch paper punched for three-ring binding to use the prongs.

Will the Stay-Put tabs and prongs still secure pages if I also use older manila folders inside the 11.63 x 9.31-inch pockets?

Yes, the corner tabs and prongs work independently, so adding other folders does not reduce their grip.
