Two-pocket folder for letter-size paper

This Five Star folder holds 8-1/2 by 11 inch sheets in two horizontal pockets and an index card pocket. Stay-Put prong tabs secure pages and help prevent bent or crinkled edges. The one-piece plastic construction is water-resistant and reinforced at the three-hole punched spine. A label space on the cover lets you identify the subject quickly.

Durable plastic resists moisture and wear

The 0.25 inch thick plastic cover repels spills and protects contents from everyday wear. At 0.02 pounds the folder adds negligible weight to a backpack or binder. No moving parts or electronics mean there is no noise or power draw to consider in normal use.

Stay-Put tabs and prong fasteners keep papers

The corner tabs let you tuck the top of each sheet so pages stay in place during transport. Prong fasteners provide additional security for hole-punched documents. The reinforced spine withstands repeated opening and closing throughout the school year.

Questions about this item

How do I load the 3-hole punched spine into a standard binder without tearing the reinforced edge?

Open the binder rings fully, align the three punched holes on the folder spine with the rings, then close the rings gently; the reinforced spine resists tearing during insertion.

Will the Stay-Put corner tabs lose grip after months of daily paper insertion and removal?

The one-piece plastic tabs are moulded into the cover and designed to hold tension for the full school year; they do not rely on adhesive that can wear out.

At what paper count do the two horizontal pockets start to bulge and prevent the folder from lying flat?

Each pocket is rated for 50 sheets of letter-size paper; exceeding that capacity causes the cover to bow and the folder to no longer sit flat.
