The Flashpoint Brand Pro Heavy-Duty Air-Cushioned Light Stand is built from stainless steel with a chrome finish for corrosion resistance. It extends to 13 feet and supports loads from 19.1 to 25 lbs, making it suitable for strobes, monolights and modifiers in professional studio environments. A reversible 1/2" or 3/8" screw on a 5/8" stud provides broad equipment compatibility.

Air-Cushioned Height Adjustment Limits

The air-cushioned mechanism slows the descent of each section to protect mounted gear from sudden drops during height changes. Maximum working height is capped at 13 feet, and the load capacity tops out at 25 lbs, so heavier rigs or taller positions exceed the stand's rated safety margin. Perpendicular mounting adds creative flexibility but does not alter the structural load limit.

Upgrade from Lightweight Stands

This stand replaces lighter aluminium or non-air-cushioned models that flex under heavy heads or lack controlled section lowering.
