130W 7.4mm charger for Dell laptops

This 130W AC adapter uses a 7.4mm barrel connector and matches the LA130PM121 part number. It powers a wide range of Dell Inspiron, XPS, Precision, Latitude and Vostro laptops as well as WD15, WD19 and D6000 docking stations. Buyers needing a different connector size or a lower wattage unit should look elsewhere.

Sustained 130W delivery

The adapter is rated to supply 130W continuously, so it can keep high-performance laptops charged during extended workloads without throttling the power input. It replaces the original DA130PE1-00 brick on supported models. Systems that draw more than 130W under load will not be fully supported by this unit.

Direct replacement for LA130PM121

This charger is a direct swap for the factory LA130PM121 or DA130PE1-00 adapter on compatible Dell notebooks and docks. The upgrade is worth it when the original brick is lost, damaged or no longer holds a secure connection. It does not add extra ports or higher wattage beyond the original specification.

Questions about this item

Does the 130W 7.4mm charger run hot or make noise when powering a laptop all day?

The adapter delivers 130W through its 7.4mm tip and has no moving parts, so it stays silent and only warms slightly under continuous load.

What must I already own for this LA130PM121 adapter to work?

You need a laptop or docking station that accepts a 7.4mm barrel connector and draws up to 130W, such as the listed Inspiron, XPS, Precision, Latitude, Vostro, OptiPlex or WD15/D6000 models.

Will this charger work with an older Precision M4400 that I still use?

Yes, the Precision M4400 appears in the compatibility list, so the 7.4mm 130W unit will power it directly.
