Dual-monitor adapter for laptops and PCs

The FLEANE HDMI to VGA+HDMI adapter splits a single HDMI output into two display connections, letting one HDMI monitor and one VGA monitor show the same picture at the same time. It is aimed at users who need a simple way to mirror a laptop screen to a modern display and a legacy projector or second monitor without installing drivers.

Thermals noise and power draw

The aluminium housing dissipates heat during normal operation without any moving parts, so the adapter runs silently. An included 5 V 1 A Micro-USB power cable supplies extra current when the source port cannot deliver enough power on its own, keeping the signal stable at 1080P 60 Hz.

Build integration and connectivity

The adapter adds a 3.5 mm audio jack that outputs PCM 2.0 stereo or 2.1-channel sound to speakers or headphones. Both video ports support up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz, while the HDMI port alone can reach 2560 x 1440 at 60 Hz. It works with Windows, Mac OS and Linux on any device that provides a standard HDMI output.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the Micro USB power cable so the adapter does not drop signal under load?

Plug the supplied Micro USB cable into the 5V/1A port on the adapter and the other end into a USB charger or powered hub; the adapter will not maintain stable 1080P@60HZ output on both ports without external power.

When will I need to replace the 3.5 mm audio cable or the Micro USB power lead?

Replace either cable only if the connectors become loose, the jacket frays, or audio crackles and video flickers return after reseating; the adapter itself has no moving parts or consumable components.

At what resolution and refresh rate will the VGA output cap out when both monitors are driven together?

With both ports active the VGA port is limited to 1920x1080P@60HZ; the HDMI port can reach 2560x1440@60HZ only when the VGA port is unused.
