Product Identity

The Floortex 1115227ER is a clear polycarbonate chair mat measuring 48 by 60 inches. It is designed for offices or home workspaces where rolling chairs are used on deep-pile carpets thicker than one half inch. The rectangular shape covers a broad area beneath a desk to protect flooring from caster wear.

Build and Daily Use

Made from original Floortex polycarbonate, the mat offers twice the impact strength of vinyl and lies flat immediately without curling or cracking. Lightly textured grippers on the underside hold the mat securely on plush carpet while allowing smooth, ergonomic chair movement. The surface is fire-resistant, odourless, free of phthalates and safe for children and pets.

Critical Specification

This mat is engineered specifically for carpets over one half inch thick including padding. Buyers with low-pile carpet, hard floors or carpet thinner than one half inch should choose a different product because the gripper design will not perform correctly on those surfaces.
