Cleartex Unomat 48" x 60" Chair Mat

The Cleartex Unomat is a rectangular polycarbonate chair mat sized 48" by 60" and .075" thick. It protects hard floors and low-pile carpet tiles from caster wear while providing a smooth, ergonomic glide surface for office chairs in home or commercial workspaces.

Check floor type and flatness before ordering

The anti-slip coating is designed for hard floors such as wood, tile, laminate and linoleum, and for very low pile carpet tiles where traditional grippers cannot penetrate. Ensure the floor is clean, dry and level so the mat lies flat immediately; the manufacturer notes a +/- 5% size tolerance from the nominal dimensions.

Fits under desks and works with underfloor heating

The rigid polycarbonate construction will not sink, crack, curl, cup, discolor or smell under normal use and is compatible with underfloor heating systems. It frees the floor from caster damage and eliminates the need to wait for the mat to flatten after delivery, while the clear finish lets the original flooring show through.

Questions about this item

Does the 48" x 60" Cleartex Unomat arrive with any fixings or must I buy them separately?

The mat is supplied as a single polycarbonate sheet with its own low-tack anti-slip coating; no separate grippers, adhesives or anchor strips are required or included.

The spec shows a 0.075 thickness — is that the only gauge available for this model?

Model FR1215020ERA is produced in the single 0.075 inch thickness; other gauges carry different model numbers.

How does the 0.075 thickness perform under a loaded office chair on a hard floor?

The polycarbonate sheet stays flat, resists cracking or curling and provides a rigid glide surface that protects the floor from caster wear.
