Glass chair mat for hard floors and carpets

The Floortex 123648EG is a rectangle glass chair mat measuring 48 by 36 inches. Its crystal-clear reinforced construction supports up to 1000 lb while protecting the floor underneath. Polished edges and radius corners give it a clean finish that suits home or office settings.

Suits desks on hard floors or any pile carpet.

This mat works on hard floors and all pile carpets, providing an ultra-tough flat surface for easy chair movement. Buyers who need a mat for uneven subfloors or a lip that extends under the desk should look at other options.

1000 lb weight capacity on reinforced glass

The single specification that decides fit is the 1000 lb load rating on the reinforced glass panel. If your chair and user weight combined stay within that limit, the mat will maintain its flat, easy-glide surface.

Questions about this item

Does the Floortex 123648EG glass chair mat ship with any mounting hardware or floor fixings, or is it simply placed on the floor?

The mat is designed to lie flat on the surface without adhesive or fasteners; its weight and polished edges keep it stable on hard floors or carpet. No extra fixings are included or required.

Should I choose the 48 by 36 inch rectangle or is another size available for this model?

Model 123648EG is offered only in the single 48 inch length by 36 inch width rectangle; no alternative dimensions exist for this part number.

What does the 1000 lb weight rating mean when the mat is under a desk chair on carpet?

The reinforced glass construction supports up to 1000 lb distributed load, so it will not crack or flex when a loaded office chair rolls across any pile carpet or hard floor.
