Glass Chair Mat for Home and Office

The Floortex 124053EG Cleartex Glaciermat is a rectangle glass chair mat measuring 53 by 40 inches. Crystal-clear reinforced glass construction supports up to 1000 lb. It protects hard floors and all pile carpets while adding a professional finish to the workspace.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

This passive glass surface has no moving parts, so it generates no heat and produces zero noise during use. The perfectly flat, ultra-tough finish requires no electrical power and maintains consistent glide performance without thermal throttling or fan curves.

Polished Edges and Radius Corners

Polished edges and radius corners create an elegant finish that matches any decor while removing sharp contact points. The versatile design protects both hard floors and carpeted surfaces without the need for separate mats or adhesive backing.

Questions about this item

How do I position the 53" x 40" glass mat on carpet without it shifting?

Place the mat directly on the carpet pile with the polished edges facing up; the 1,000 lb reinforced glass weight keeps it stable without adhesive or grippers.

Will the glass surface scratch or need refinishing over time?

The ultra-tough glass resists scratches from chair casters and requires only occasional cleaning with a non-abrasive glass cleaner; no refinishing is needed.

At what load does the 124053EG mat risk cracking under daily rolling?

The crystal-clear reinforced glass is rated for 1,000 lb, so typical office chairs and users stay well within the structural limit.
