Elite 7.1 Surround System

The Fluance SX71WHR is a complete 7.1 home theater speaker system designed for listeners who want a fully matched surround setup. It includes floorstanding towers, a center channel, surround speakers, rear surrounds, and a powered subwoofer. This system suits dedicated movie and music rooms where a coherent timbre across all channels matters. It is not for buyers who need a compact soundbar or a simple stereo pair.

7.1 Channels with 10-Inch Subwoofer

The 7.1 configuration delivers discrete audio to seven satellite speakers plus low-frequency effects through the 10-inch powered subwoofer. Floorstanding towers handle front left and right duties with extended midrange and bass, while the center anchors dialogue. Surround and rear surround speakers create an enveloping soundfield. The subwoofer adds deep, room-shaking bass for cinematic impact. It does not serve spaces that cannot accommodate multiple large speakers and a separate subwoofer cabinet.

MDF Cabinets and Silk Dome Tweeters

Each speaker uses an engineered MDF wood cabinet with a white woodgrain finish to reduce resonance and coloration. Silk dome tweeters on the towers and surrounds produce smooth high frequencies without harshness. The passive satellites require an external AV receiver or amplifier with enough channels and power. The powered subwoofer connects via a single RCA-type subwoofer output. This system is not for users who lack a multi-channel receiver or the space for floorstanding towers.

Questions about this item

Will the 7.1 speaker system integrate with my existing AV receiver?

The passive speakers connect to any receiver with seven amplified channels plus a subwoofer pre-out, so your current amplifier can drive the floorstanding towers, center, surrounds and rear surrounds while the powered subwoofer handles its own amplification.

How can I verify the 7.1 system is performing correctly after setup?

Run your receiver's auto-calibration routine; it will measure each of the seven speakers and the 10-inch subwoofer individually, set distance, level and crossover, then play test tones so you can confirm every channel is active and timbre-matched.

What comes in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The retail package includes the two floorstanding towers, center channel, two surround speakers, two rear surround speakers and the powered 10-inch subwoofer; you will need to supply speaker wire for the seven passive speakers and a subwoofer cable for the LFE connection.
