Work surface dimensions

The desk provides a 25.1"W x 17.7"D work surface for computer equipment and writing materials. Manufactured wood construction with a white finish suits home or professional office settings. The integrated design combines a desk, bookcase and cabinet in one unit.

Integrated storage layout

A 4-tier open bookcase replaces the need for a separate shelving unit beside the desk. The single-door cabinet measures 13.7"H x 12.3"W for concealed storage of supplies. Buyers who need more drawer space or a wider work surface should consider a different configuration.

Build and placement needs

Manufactured wood construction requires assembly on a level floor. The white finish coordinates with light-coloured decor schemes. The combined footprint frees up floor space that separate desk and bookcase pieces would occupy.

Questions about this item

How much floor area does the 25.1"W x 17.7"D work surface need?

The desk top measures 25.1 inches wide by 17.7 inches deep, so allow at least that footprint plus a few centimetres around it for chair movement and the attached bookcase and cabinet.

Which step do people miss when bolting the 4-tier bookcase and 1-door cabinet to the desk frame?

Fit all cam locks and dowels loosely first, align the cabinet door hinges square, then tighten every fastener in sequence so the 13.7"H x 12.3"W cabinet lines up without binding.

What upkeep will the manufactured-wood finish and cabinet hinges need over time?

Wipe the white surface with a damp cloth and mild cleaner; tighten the door hinges once a year and lubricate them lightly if they start to squeak.
