Two-Port USB HDMI KVM Switch

This new FOCUSTEC KVM switch lets you operate two computers from a single keyboard, mouse and HDMI monitor. It accepts wired or wireless USB peripherals and requires no driver installation on any connected host. A front-panel button and two hot-key sequences provide instant source changes.

4K 30 Hz Video Capacity

The unit passes video up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz and also handles 1080p, 3D and lower resolutions without scaling issues. HDCP-protected content plays correctly through the switch. Bandwidth limits mean higher refresh rates at 4K or resolutions above 2160p are not supported.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

Built-in dual chips manage switching duties while drawing minimal power from the USB bus. The fanless enclosure runs silently and stays cool during continuous operation. No external power adapter is required for typical desktop or console setups.

Questions about this item

Will this KVM switch work with my older 1080p monitor and a new 4K PC?

Yes, the switch supports up to 3840x2160 at 30 Hz and also handles 1080p or lower resolutions, so a 1080p display will work alongside a 4K source.

How can I confirm the switch is passing the 4K 30Hz signal correctly after connecting everything?

Check your operating system's display settings; if the resolution shows 3840x2160 at 30 Hz and the image is stable, the link is working as intended.

Which cables are included and what must I buy separately to connect two computers and one monitor?

The box contains the KVM unit itself; you will need to supply two HDMI cables for video and two USB cables for keyboard and mouse connections to each computer.
