Four-Port VGA KVM with Audio

This FOCUSTEC KVM switch lets one USB keyboard, one USB mouse and a single VGA monitor control up to four computers. It also routes speaker and microphone signals so audio follows the active system. The unit supports a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536 and handles DDC automatically. Plug-and-play operation requires no extra adapter or driver installation.

Suits multi-system desks without HDMI

Ideal for administrators or home users juggling legacy towers that only offer VGA video and USB peripherals. The built-in USB hub ports make it easy to share a printer, scanner or external drive across all connected machines. Buyers who need digital video such as HDMI or DisplayPort, or who require switching for more than four hosts, should look at a different class of switch.

Cables and legacy OS support included

Four complete KVM cable sets ship in the box so every port is ready to use immediately. The firmware recognises Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, XP, 2003 Server and Vista alongside Linux and Mac OS, reducing crashes and input freezes on older platforms. A one-year warranty and lifetime technical support back the hardware.

Questions about this item

Which cables do I need to connect my four computers to the KVM?

Four KVM cables are included, each carrying VGA video, USB keyboard and mouse, plus audio and microphone signals for a single computer.

Will my legacy Windows 98SE and Windows 2000 machines work alongside a modern Linux box on this switch?

The switch supports Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, XP, 2003 Server, Vista, Linux and Mac OS, so all those systems can share the same console.

How can I verify the switch is delivering the claimed 2048 by 1536 resolution?

Set the connected monitor to 2048 x 1536; the built-in DDC and automatic identification will negotiate that resolution if the monitor and graphics cards support it.
