Dual Monitor HDMI KVM Switch

This FOCUSTEC KVM switch lets you control two computers with a single keyboard and mouse while sharing one or two monitors in extended or duplicated display modes. It supports 4K@30Hz, 1080p and 3D video, plus separate audio and microphone output. The unit is driver-free across Windows, macOS, Linux and Chrome OS.

Ideal for dual-PC desk setups

Suits users who need to switch between two systems on a dual-monitor desk without extra peripherals. Buyers who need higher refresh rates at 4K, more than two computer ports or USB 3.0 peripheral speed should look elsewhere. The switching options include front-panel button, mouse gesture, keyboard hotkey and automatic scan with an adjustable interval between 8 and 999 seconds.

4K@30Hz via HDMI decides fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the maximum video bandwidth of 4K@30Hz over HDMI. If your monitors and sources both support this rate you will get the full resolution; otherwise the switch will fall back to 1080p. Verify that both connected devices list 4K@30Hz before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Will the 4K@30Hz output work if my older monitor only supports 1080P?

Yes, the switch supports 1080P resolution so it will downscale the signal to match your older monitor's maximum capability.

How do I confirm the KVM is switching correctly after connecting two PCs and dual monitors?

Use the front key switch, mouse gesture, keyboard hotkey or set an automatic scan interval between 8 and 999 seconds to verify each computer appears on the extended or duplicated displays.

Which cables are included and what must I provide separately for a dual-monitor setup?

The box contains the KVM unit only; you need to supply two HDMI cables per computer (four total), a USB 2.0 cable per computer, plus your own keyboard, mouse, monitors, headset and microphone.
