Dual-Monitor KVM for Four Computers

The FOCUSTEC PKS0802A10 is a DisplayPort KVM switch that connects four computers to a single keyboard, mouse and two monitors. It supports UHD 4K resolution at 60 Hz for sharp dual-screen output. A metal enclosure with rack-mount ears provides a sturdy, space-saving installation for desk or rack environments.

Suited for Multi-System Workstations

This switch suits users who operate multiple desktops or laptops and want to reduce peripheral clutter without sacrificing dual-display productivity. It also supports DCCI cascading to expand the setup to four monitors when required. Buyers who require EDID emulation for consistent display handshake should consider alternative HDMI-based models instead.

DisplayPort 4K@60Hz Dual-Head Switching

The decisive specification is the dual-monitor DisplayPort interface running at 4K 60 Hz across four connected systems. This determines whether your graphics outputs and monitor inputs match the switch capabilities. Verify that every source and display uses native DisplayPort connectors to avoid adapter complications.

Questions about this item

Will running two monitors at 4K@60Hz through this switch limit colour depth or refresh rate compared to a direct connection?

The switch passes DisplayPort video up to 4K@60Hz per monitor, so resolution and refresh rate match a native link; colour depth follows the source and display capabilities.

What DisplayPort version does the PKS0802A10 implement, and does it cap bandwidth below HBR2?

The unit is specified for UHD 4K@60Hz dual-display operation, which requires HBR2 bandwidth; no lower version or reduced rate is indicated.

Does the metal enclosure come with brackets for a standard rack, or only desktop feet?

The description notes rack-mount ears are included, allowing installation in a standard equipment rack as well as desktop use.
