Shares four USB 2.0 devices between two computers with a remote button and LED status indicator
This FOCUSTEC KVM switch lets two computers share four USB 2.0 peripherals such as keyboards, mice, printers, scanners or external drives. It works with Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP, Mac OS X and Linux without extra software. A compact housing keeps the desk tidy while an LED shows which system is active. First-time use loads the USB driver automatically.
The switch maintains a steady USB 2.0 connection for all four attached devices during long work sessions. An optional micro-USB power port accepts a standard 5 V adapter when peripheral draw exceeds the host ports. Higher-voltage chargers are not supported and can degrade performance. Driver loading completes on the first connection; switching during that brief window should be avoided to prevent errors.
No fan is present so the unit runs silently in normal use. Power draw stays low because the switch itself consumes minimal current and relies on the host USB ports or the optional 5 V supply. The small footprint adds negligible heat to the workspace. If a driver fails to load, unplugging all cables for ten seconds before reconnecting restores normal operation.

The switch includes a micro USB port for an optional 5 V adapter; if the combined USB 2.0 ports on your PCs cannot supply sufficient current for four devices, the external adapter prevents instability.
You need two USB A-to-B cables for the PC links and up to four standard USB cables for your keyboard, mouse, printer, scanner or other USB 2.0 devices.
Yes, the switch is OS-agnostic — Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 7, Vista, XP, Mac OS X and Linux all share the same USB 2.0 driver, so the LED and button function identically on either system.
