Ford 7T4T-18C869-BD OEM head unit

This Ford OEM AM FM CD receiver fits 2007 Edge Lincoln MKX and Mercury Milan models. It includes a single-disc MP3 CD player and a factory Bluetooth upgrade. The unit is professionally remanufactured to match original mounting brackets and plugs.

Sustained Bluetooth audio streaming

Bluetooth music playback runs continuously while paired and the dedicated button is active. All factory sound controls remain available during streaming. The connection does not support phone calls because the radio lacks a microphone circuit.

Six-disc changer interface limit

The radio uses the original six-disc changer connector for the Bluetooth module. Vehicles without that specific plug cannot accept the upgrade. The paired device must supply a 0000 passkey during initial pairing.

Questions about this item

Does the 7T4T-18C869-BD run hot or draw extra power during all-day use?

The remanufactured OEM unit fits the original dashboard opening and uses the factory wiring harness, so power draw and heat remain at factory levels for the 2007 Ford Edge, Lincoln MKX or Mercury Milan.

What wiring or brackets must I already have for the 7T4T-18C869-BD to install?

You need the original mounting brackets and factory connector plugs that came with the 2007 vehicle; the listing asks you to confirm those match before purchase.

Will the Bluetooth upgrade on the 7T4T-18C869-BD work with the steering-wheel controls I am keeping?

The upgrade lets you pair a device and play audio through the radio's own sound controls; phone calls are not supported because they require a separate microphone system.
