Bi-Directional HDMI Switch 1x2 2x1

This manual HDMI switch offers three ports and a physical button to route signals in either direction. Use it as a 1x2 splitter to send one source to two displays, or as a 2x1 selector to choose between two sources on one screen. It supports 4K and 1080P resolution with HD 3D capability. Audio and video remain synchronised across the connection.

Suits setups needing manual source

Ideal for home theatre, gaming or video conference rigs where a user wants to toggle between a PC, console or DVD player on a single projector or TV. It also fits scenarios where one source must feed alternate displays. Not suited for buyers who need simultaneous output on two screens, automatic switching or remote-controlled operation. The 16.96 ft maximum cable reach may limit installations requiring longer runs.

Check your HDMI cables and source capabilities

Verify that your source devices and displays use standard HDMI connectors compatible with the switch ports. Confirm the combined cable length from source to switch to display stays within the 16.96 ft limit for reliable 4K signal integrity. Ensure the source can output the desired resolution and that the display accepts it. No external power adapter is mentioned, so the unit draws power from the HDMI lines.

Questions about this item

What HDMI sources do I need to connect to the three HDMI ports for the bi-directional switch to function?

Connect up to two source devices such as a DVD player and a game console to the two-port side, or connect a single source to the one-port side and two displays to the two-port side.

Will the switch pass a 1080p signal from an older DVD player to a 4K TV without manual downscaling?

Yes, the switch supports HD 3D 1080P and 4K resolution, so a 1080p source will display on a 4K TV without extra configuration.

How do I confirm the active HDMI path after pressing the switch button?

The two indicator lights show which input or output is currently selected, confirming the active connection.
