Laundry Additive Odor Eliminator

Freshwave Iaq 563 is a clear, unscented liquid additive designed to remove odours from washable fabrics. It suits households and facilities that need fragrance-free odour control without dyes, phosphates or bleach. The formula is colour-safe and biodegradable, meeting EPA Safer Choice criteria. It works in standard and high-efficiency machines alike.

Jug Container Build Quality

The one-gallon jug is made of sturdy clear plastic with a secure cap that resists leaks during storage and transport. Its wide opening allows easy pouring into dispenser drawers or directly into the drum without splashing. The rigid handle supports the full weight for single-handed carrying between laundry areas. No measuring cup is included, so users supply their own dosing tool.

Unscented Phosphate-Free Formula

The product contains an odour eliminator but no fragrance, bleach, fabric softener or stain lifter. It is phosphate-free, dye-free and colour-safe, making it suitable for sensitive skin and delicate fabrics. Biodegradable composition and EPA Safer Choice recognition confirm reduced environmental impact. Buyers who want a scented booster or integrated stain removal should choose a different product.

Questions about this item

Does the EPA Safer Choice label on this 563 laundry additive limit the water temperature or cycle type I can use?

The EPA Safer Choice certification covers ingredient safety, not wash parameters. You can run any temperature or cycle the fabric allows; the additive works in cold, warm or hot water.

What cap or measuring method does the 1-gallon jug use so I dose the 563 additive correctly per load?

The jug has a built-in handle and screw cap but no graduated cup. Measure 1–2 fluid ounces into a separate measuring cup or the machine’s dispenser drawer for each load.

The label says high-efficiency compatibility is No — can I still add the 563 product to an HE washer without causing excess suds?

Yes. The formula is low-sudsing and phosphate-free, so it rinses clean in HE machines. Add it directly to the drum or the liquid-detergent compartment, not the bleach or softener dispensers.
