Pack Contents

This downloadable pack adds eight Southeast Asian species to Planet Zoo. The new animals are the sun bear, clouded leopard, Malaysian tapir, proboscis monkey, North Sulawesi babirusa, binturong, Ussuri dhole, and giant leaf insect. It also introduces a new career scenario set at Haiwan-Hebat Park.

Gameplay Experience

The expansion integrates directly into the base simulation, letting you design habitats and enrichment for the new species. You manage their welfare through the existing life-cycle systems and can release animals into the wild. The scenario challenges you to complete a park expansion after funding difficulties.

Platform Requirements

The product is a Steam code for PC and requires an active Steam account for activation. You must already own Planet Zoo on the same platform to use this content. Check that your system meets the base game's specifications before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the pack add noticeable heat or fan noise while I run Planet Zoo all day on my PC?

The DLC itself adds no code that changes power draw; any extra heat comes from the base game rendering the new animals and scenery.

Do I need to own the base Planet Zoo game on Steam before this pack will activate?

Yes, the pack is downloadable content that requires the full Planet Zoo simulation on the same Steam account to work.

Will the Southeast Asia animals and scenario appear in save files I created with the base game before 2021?

The new species, enrichment items and the Haiwan-Hebat Park scenario integrate into existing zoos once the pack is installed.
