Arid Animal Pack content

The Arid Animal Pack adds eight new creatures to Planet Zoo, including dromedary camel, addax, Somali wild ass, black rhino, sand cat, dama gazelle, African crested porcupine and desert horned viper. It is designed for players who want to expand their zoo with species from desert and steppe environments. The pack also introduces a new challenge scenario set in the Arabian Desert. Buyers who want animals from other biomes will need different packs.

Eight species and one scenario

Seven habitat animals and one exhibit reptile arrive with unique animations and behaviours tailored to arid conditions. The addax, black rhino and sand cat join the roster alongside the dromedary camel, dama gazelle, Somali wild ass, African crested porcupine and desert horned viper. A single challenge scenario tasks players with building a zoo for Tiffany Summers in the Arabian Desert. No additional campaigns or sandbox maps are included.

Questions about this item

Will the Arid Animal Pack run on my existing Planet Zoo installation from 2019?

Yes, the pack is downloadable content for the base game released in 2019 and activates through the same Steam account.

How can I confirm the eight new animals such as the dromedary camel and black rhino appear in my zoo after redeeming the code?

Launch Planet Zoo via Steam, open the Zoopedia or animal marketplace, and the eight Arid species will be listed with new animations and habitat needs.

Does the Steam code delivery include the Arabian Desert challenge scenario or must that be purchased separately?

The scenario starring Tiffany Summers is part of the pack; the single Steam code unlocks all eight animals and the challenge scenario together.
