Eight-colour voice buttons for pets and play

This pack contains eight recordable buttons in rose, purple, orange, pink, blue, red, yellow and light green. Each unit captures up to 30 seconds of audio in AVI format and plays it back with a press. They are aimed at pet owners teaching basic commands, families wanting a party game, or offices looking for a novelty ice-breaker. No headphones jack is fitted.

USB interface and battery operation change daily use

A USB port on each button lets you transfer the recorded AVI files to a computer for backup or sharing. Power comes from two AAA cells per button, which are not supplied, so you must buy batteries before first use. The bottom-mounted record button prevents accidental triggers while the unit is being handled or stepped on by a pet.

Compact plastic build suits tabletop and floor

Each button measures 3.45 by 3.45 by 1.6 inches and the set weighs .649 kilograms, light enough to carry in a bag for picnics or travel. The smooth plastic shell has no sharp edges, making it safe around children and animals. Because there is no headphone output, playback is always through the built-in speaker, keeping the interaction audible to everyone nearby.

Questions about this item

How often will the 2 AAA batteries need replacing during daily 30-second recordings?

Each button runs on 2 AAA cells; with typical use the batteries last for many 30-second sessions before a change is needed.

What stops a recording session first when the button is used repeatedly?

The built-in limit is 30 seconds per press, so the timer ends the recording before any other constraint.

Does the SVY211 get warm or make noise after hours of continuous playback?

The buttons stay cool and silent; they only beep once at record start and twice at record end.
