Hybrid Still & Motion Camera

The Fujifilm X-H2 delivers a 40.2MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor for professional-grade photography and 8K/30p video with internal Apple ProRes recording. The bundle includes the camera body, a 128GB SD card, shoulder bag, extra battery, charger, screen protector and cleaning kit. It suits hybrid creators who need high resolution and advanced video in a compact mirrorless body.

Video Recording Limits

Internal 8K/30p 10-bit 4:2:2 ProRes footage requires a CFexpress Type B card and runs for up to 240 minutes. 12-bit RAW output is available via the Type A HDMI socket to compatible external recorders. The mechanical shutter reaches a top speed of 1/180,000 sec and continuous shooting up to 15 frames-per-second. Buyers who need longer internal 8K recording times or raw capture without an external recorder should note these constraints.

Build & Daily Handling

The compact body integrates a seven-stop in-body image stabilisation system for steady handheld shooting. A shoulder bag protects the kit during transport while the extra battery and charger extend field operation. The optional VFT-XH File Transmitter adds remote control of up to four cameras for live streaming workflows. Users who require a built-in vertical grip or larger battery capacity will find those absent.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 40.2MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor version for stills or the 8K/30p Apple ProRes version for video?

This single body delivers both: the 40.2MP sensor captures 160-megapixel Pixel Shift files and the 8K/30p ProRes records internally to CFexpress Type B, so you get maximum stills resolution and cinema-grade video without choosing.

What does the 40.2MP sensor actually give me in daily shooting?

It produces 40.2-megapixel images with exceptional detail and colour accuracy, and via Pixel Shift Multi-Shot it can generate 160-megapixel files for extreme resolution needs such as large prints or heavy cropping.

How does the CFexpress Type B slot limit 8K recording?

8K/30p 10-bit 4:2:2 ProRes records internally to the CFexpress Type B card for up to 240 minutes; 12-bit RAW requires the HDMI Type A output to an external recorder.
