Fujifilm XF 14mm f/2.8 R

The Fujifilm XF 14mm f/2.8 R is a wide-angle prime lens designed for Fujifilm X-mount mirrorless cameras. It provides a 21mm equivalent focal length in full-frame terms. The optical construction uses 10 elements in 7 groups, including two aspherical and three abnormal dispersion elements. A bright maximum aperture of f/2.8 supports low-light shooting and shallow depth of field.

Suits landscape and architectural photographers

This lens suits photographers who need a wide field of view for landscapes, architecture or interior spaces. The 18cm minimum focus distance allows close-up detail work. Buyers who require zoom flexibility or telephoto reach should consider other options. The fixed focal length also limits framing adjustments without moving position.

58mm filter thread and compact build

A 58mm front thread accepts standard screw-in filters for creative control or protection. The bundle adds a Flex Lens Shade, filter kit, cleaning supplies and a carrying case. Its compact form factor keeps a camera bag light and leaves room for additional lenses or accessories. The rounded aperture blades produce smooth background blur.

Questions about this item

Which camera mount does this 14mm f/2.8 lens require?

It uses the Fujifilm X mount, so you need an X-series body such as the X-E1 or X-Pro1 for it to function.

Will the 58mm filter thread accept the same circular polariser I use on my older XF lenses?

Yes, the 58mm thread is identical across the XF range, so existing 58mm filters fit without an adapter.

How can I confirm the 10-element optical formula is performing correctly after mounting?

Shoot a flat, well-lit target at 18cm minimum focus and infinity; sharpness should be even across the frame with no colour fringing from the three abnormal-dispersion elements.
