Ultralight Wide-Angle Power Zoom

The Sony FE PZ 16-35mm F4 G is a full-frame constant-aperture wide-angle power zoom lens designed for mirrorless cameras. It targets content creators who need refined imagery and smooth zoom control for both stills and movie production. The power zoom system uses four XD Linear Motors for rapid response.

Compact Build with G Lens Quality

A new power zoom mechanism keeps the lens remarkably compact while maintaining G lens rendering standards. The zoom lever allows super-slow constant-speed zooms and remote operation when the camera is mounted on a gimbal. Internal zoom maintains balance during operation.

Upgrade from Manual Wide Zooms

This lens replaces manual wide-angle zooms where smooth motorised control is required for video work. The jump is worth it for solo shooters or small crews who need precise, quiet zoom transitions without disturbing focus or composition. It suits hybrid stills and video workflows.
