Sheet-fed scanner with 600 dpi optical resolution, 80-sheet ADF, duplex scanning and USB 3.0 interface
Model FI-7160 (PA03670-B085)
The Fujitsu fi-7160 is a sheet-fed document scanner built for offices that need reliable daily digitisation. Its CCD sensor and white LED array deliver 600 dpi optical resolution with 24-bit colour depth. Duplex scanning captures both sides in a single pass. The 80-sheet automatic document feeder handles batches from 2.00" x 2.10" up to 8.50" x 220.00". USB 3.0 connectivity ensures broad compatibility with Windows workstations and servers.
The 80-sheet feeder holds a substantial stack for unattended runs. Simplex scanning reaches 60 pages per minute while duplex output hits 120 images per minute. Long-page support up to 220.00" lets you capture oversized forms without splitting jobs. The brake roller separation and Skew Reducer keep multi-feed errors low. Paper Protection stops the feed when anomalies appear, preserving originals. Power draw stays at 38 W active, 1.8 W sleep and 0.35 W standby.
The scanner connects through a single USB 3.0 port, backward compatible with older USB versions. It operates on 100 to 240 VAC without an external brick, drawing minimal desk space at 6.40" x 11.80" x 6.70" and 9.26 lbs. Supported operating systems span Windows XP through Windows 10 plus Server 2012 and 2012 R2 64-bit editions. Buyers needing network or wireless scanning, or a larger feeder for high-volume archives, should consider other models.

Other versions of this model
Yes, the USB 3.0 interface is backward compatible with USB 2.0, so the scanner will operate on older ports at USB 2.0 speeds.
Run a test batch through the 80-sheet ADF in duplex mode and confirm the output file contains front and rear images for every sheet at the expected 600 dpi resolution.
