Sheet-fed document scanner with 4.3-inch touchscreen, 30 ppm duplex scanning, Wi-Fi and USB 3.1 connectivity
This sheet-fed scanner handles 30 colour duplex pages per minute through a 50-page automatic document feeder. It accepts documents from 50.8 by 50.8 mm up to 216 by 360 mm in normal mode and up to 279 by 432 mm in manual mode. A 4.3-inch touch screen and Wi-Fi let you send scans directly to PC, Mac or cloud destinations without a host computer.
The scanner is ready within seconds of opening the cover and maintains 30 ppm in colour duplex without slowing down. Optical resolution is 600 by 600 dpi using dual colour CIS sensors and a three-colour LED light source. Power draw stays at 17 watts or less while scanning and drops to 1.5 watts or less in sleep mode, so long batches do not heat the unit or spike electricity use.
USB 3.1 Type-B and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac connect to Windows 10, 8.1, 7 or macOS 10.12 through 10.14 using the included ScanSnap Home software. Quick Menu stores up to 30 pre-configured profiles for one-touch job switching. The only frequent issue is feeding very thin receipts or embossed cards without a carrier sheet, which the ADF rollers can mis-pick.
