Compatible Replacement Battery

The FYIOGXG lithium-ion cell delivers 1140mAh at 7.4V for Standard Horizon HX290 two-way radios. It matches the original FNB-110Li dimensions of 131.43 x 59.20 x 39.05mm and weighs 115.8g. A built-in protection circuit guards against overcharge, over-discharge and short circuits.

Ideal for Radio Operators

This pack suits owners of HX 290 or HX290 handsets who need a direct drop-in replacement with a fully decoded chip. Buyers who require a different voltage, capacity or form factor for another radio model should look elsewhere. The unit ships new and meets ISO9001, RoHS and CE standards.

Capacity and Voltage Decide Fit

The 1140mAh / 8.44Wh rating at 7.4V is the single figure that confirms compatibility with your device. Verify the original battery carries part number FNB-110Li before ordering. Performance reaches its peak after two or three full charge cycles.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 1140mAh 7.4V version or a different capacity for my Standard Horizon HX290?

Choose the 1140mAh 7.4V model because it matches the original FNB-110Li specification exactly; other capacities would not fit the radio or could cause charging issues.

What does the 8.44Wh rating mean for actual talk time on my HX290?

The 8.44Wh capacity typically delivers a full day of mixed transmit and receive use on the HX290, though exact hours depend on transmit power setting and duty cycle.

Does the battery use a proprietary connector or a standard interface, and will it charge in the original desktop charger?

It uses the same proprietary connector as the FNB-110Li, so it fits the HX290 and charges correctly in the Standard Horizon desktop charger supplied with the radio.
