Replacement charger for Switch 2 and handhelds

This 65 W GaN 3.0 adapter replaces the official Nintendo Switch 2 power supply and supports the console’s 4K TV docked mode at 20 V 3 A. It also charges Steam Deck, ROG Ally and earlier Switch models at full speed, reaching 80 % battery in about 1.5 hours. A 6.6 ft USB-C cable is permanently attached for immediate use.

GaN 3.0 build with multi-voltage output

Gallium-nitride generation three raises power density by roughly 28 % and improves heat dissipation by 22 % compared with first-generation GaN designs. The brick measures 49 × 45 × 38 mm and weighs 153 g, matching the stock Switch 2 charger’s footprint. Five protection layers guard against short-circuit, over-voltage, over-heat, over-charge and over-current, plus a 4000 V lightning-surge rating.

PD 3.0 and PPS cover phones and controllers

USB Power Delivery 3.0 and Programmable Power Supply deliver 5 V 3 A, 9 V 3 A, 15 V 3 A and 20 V 3.25 A for a 65 W ceiling. Galaxy phones that accept 25 W PPS charge at full rate; 45 W PPS devices require a separate 5 A E-Marker cable. The unit is not intended for laptops or peripherals drawing more than 65 W continuously.

Questions about this item

Does this PD 3.0 charger deliver the 60 W needed for stable 4K TV mode on a Switch 2 dock?

Yes, the 20 V / 3.25 A rail supplies up to 65 W, meeting the 20 V / 3 A (60 W) requirement for docked 4K output.

Will the 49 × 45 × 38 mm brick fit the same outlet space as the official Switch 2 charger?

It shares the exact dimensions of the official adapter, so it occupies the same wall or strip footprint.

The box includes a 6.6 ft USB-C cable — does it support the 5 A needed for 45 W phone charging?

The supplied cable handles the 3.25 A maximum of this charger; for 45 W PPS charging a separate 5 A E-Marker cable is required.
